A master-planned community, Mill Pond at Stonehouse is governed by The Association at Stonehouse, Inc., Homeowners’ Association (HOA)—an independent, nonprofit corporation that operates from property-owner assessments. HOA fees cover costs affiliated with the management of the HOA and maintenance of the common areas and community amenities.
Mill Pond at Stonehouse is a Covenants-governed community overseen by a member-elected Board of Directors (BOD). An on-site manager and management staff are responsible for handling day-to-day operations involving contractors, security, homeowners’ issues, and maintenance of the many amenities.
Environmental Review and Covenants Committees ensure adherence to design and other community standards. Various other committees, consisting of resident volunteers, serve in an advisory capacity to the BOD, making recommendations regarding their areas of focus and/or effecting solutions. Each of the 11 neighborhoods elects a Neighborhood Representative who works as a communication liaison within their neighborhood.
